Harlan, Iowa Aug. 15 1915 Mrs. Francis E. Whitley, Webster City, Iowa My dear Mrs. Whitley, I am enclosing a list of my township chairman, a couple of weeks ago I with the assistance of the other county officers and out local [illegible] gave a luncheon for them. Fourteen of them were here. We talked over our work and all felt greatly [illegible] by it. Of the weighing and measuring of the babies is [progressing?] nicely. We are [illegible] there in Harlan and the townships are at work now. Not so many have responded as yet in the call for nurses but I think some of it was due to the fact that the material was so late in arriving and as we have only the weekly [illegible] [illegible] we are not able to get information before the [people?] always at the
