Mrs. C. C. Whitley Melster City- Ia. My dear Mrs. Whitley, Your letter just received and every mail brings some message urging us to push the work, which I have certainly tried to do. Our Northern town ships are made up largely of German + Hollanders and they are hard to reach- but we are trying several plans and hope to get a fair number. I have few in all corners of the county still holding country meeting. I have done everything suggested except the public meeting and that I hope to have- we have sent in 1260 signed cards- having no large cities in our county, we can not make a very big showing, but will do our best. Mrs. Geblardt? has been splendid help and she will tell you, how we have tried our best. Very Sincerely, Mrs. M. C. Mackin.
