as I did when I left Home, but I think I will in a few days I do not want any of you to be on easy about me tell Ma' not to for I know how she is. - I am enjoying myself the best way I know how. We are having a high old time. Well I could write a great deal more but must close George sais he will write as soon as the Reg. getes in Camp again I wrote to Ma and Tillie last week and just as I had mailed them I learnt that Rev. Kirkpatrick was waiting for a boat to Start up the River for Home. We learn that his family is very sick with the Smallpox which is raging all over Town. I am glad that you all have escaped it so well, as you have. For the last two or three letters I have writen I forgot to tell you that I sent my Dress Coat and Hymn Book Home when the Reg. left if you have not got them yet I put them in with Mr Carpenters things they will go to his Wife. If Charley can ware the Coat give it to him, and the Hymn Book give to Mary Hout
