Millikens Bend Louisana. April 28th./63 Dear Parents - When I last wrote you, I told you that we expected to go to orur old Camp at Youngs Point. So we did. We left Greenvill Friday got to Youngs Point, Saturday. Saturday evening we received marching orders to be ready to march in the morning (Sunday) We got here the afternoon of the same day. Yesterday we received our pay up to the first of March, 13th of next month there will be two month pay due us. I send you ($60.00) Sixty dollars by Cap Smith. He has resined will leave in a few days. I
