Then I met a very nice WAC Lieutenant Davey, who gave me the name of a friend who she said would probably be in charge at the embarkation port & who she said would show me a good time. I got in at 8:00 this morning, was met & we all went out to American University, where the classes are. We registered & then came back to the Burlington Hotel, where we are now. The address may be temporary, so you had better write to Helen Fox, #89, HRW, American Red Cross, American University, Washington, D.C. We had 2 lectures, one general & one on uniform this afternoon. I've been eating with Josaphine & Marie Devlin, a So. Carolina girl. It doesn't look as though any money would be forthcoming till about the end of the 2 weeks. Then we have 2 weeks continuation training in some hospital near here.
