to where we would fit in best. If we are more adapted to club work than hospital, they'll say so. If we need more than a couple of weeks hospital work, we'll get it. I'll have one more week of orientation anyway, so will be all through here probably November 6th. I really think that one would get overseas just as quickly by taking 3 months practice as by hanging around here on 2 week assignments, but I'll do the latter if I can because I think it would be more interesting. We have eaten downtown almost every evening. Tonight I had broiled Mallard duck with wild rice & guava jelly and Marron (candied chestnut) parfait. Oh, the rigors of war in Washington! We played softball day before yesterday and won 6-3. I played 3rd base! Just to give you an idea of what I'm doing I'll copy our schedule. I never learned so much in two weeks time.
