hear and understand who I was. Then she visited so long I was uneasy about the girls who wanted to phone. Don't bother about the meat stamps, as unfortunately the dog catcher caught up with the 13 & they are no more. Their parents are quite disconsolate. I do want that book that has the shoe coupon that was good yesterday - No 1 in book No 3. I'll return it at once, but I'd like a pair of low heeled pumps to wear with my uniform. I hope your X-rays are all right and you dont have to bother with anything there. My new suitcase was delivered yesterday & I think it will do very well. I hated to part with the blue one, but couldn't see why it should stand in the attic while I invested more. It was just too big & heavy. They said that in some crossings if your suitcase was a thick one you had to keep it in your berth & sleep with it, as there were perhaps 16 in a cabin for 4.
