[Nov. 4, 1943] Thursday Dear Mother, Do you suppose you could send me the small iron I brought from my apartment, together with its cord? There are no irons here & I'm afraid it will be the same everywhere, I'd like to start wearing my uniform. Also, if there is a spot in the package, I'd like the anagrams, & the game called Contack and the set of linoleum block cutters & rubber roller. I think the latter set is in the basement by the paints or in the attic by the scout things. Stuff like that will be priceless in some localities. I'm beginning to sort out my stuff. Just one more day of Basic! Love, Helen
