concerned about the American People and their "business as usual" attitude. The shortage of butter is the only thing I notice. I'm glad you're working at the Red Cross. It wounds like fun and is very sociable too. The box came just after I wrote you. I'm glad you stuck in the other games. I couldn't remember whether or not I asked for them. That leaves just the iron & the shoe stamp book & block tools doesn't it? The macaroons were very good & are now all gone. My roommate raved about them & thought you were so smart to know how to make them. I was glad to have the red dress; I wore it to lunch this morning. Those of us (54) who took Basic together feel quite a bit as sorority sisters now, having worked together so closely. I like all of them. Peggy Cobb was sick Friday, so I brought her a meal on a tray during the party rush. She was most appreciative. We are going together tomorrow after class to try to complete our uniform issues then we'll go to L'Escargot or La Salle du Gois for a ritzy dinner. Hurray for expense accounts! Love, Helen
