The night shift's 6-9. There are usually movies or outside talent shows then. Eleanore Schmidt, one of the workers & I are doing the dance tomorrow night, & Betty Petcen & I do the Sunday night musical. I do it & she assists me to give me practice. More on that later. I'm getting fond of the place & will hate to leave the 29th. It is considered one of the very best of the General Hospitals & is full of recently arrived overseas fellows, some of whom pass through while others stay a while. I've talked to men from Iceland, Guadalcanal & Panama all in the same ward. The nurses are swell, & lots of the earrings & necklaces are being made for them. I'm feeling fine. I have a pink spot the size of a tennis ball (flat) on my left arm where I had a typhoid shot yesterday & a mere prick on my right one where I got my third tetanus today. My yesterday's smallpox vaccination I can't find at all. I'll have to wait for my
