[Nov. 22, 1943] Monday night Dear Mother, I got letters 2 & 3, written the 18th & the 20th, today. Also a letter from Marie Devlin & 2 cards from the Red Cross saying they had sent packages out to the University for me. Since they had already sent the first seed one, I hope that means seed package no 2 & my 6 blue blouses from Sears. The reason I was perturbed about the seeds was that I was afraid you were "making yourself scarce." I'm sure they'll be much appreciated. I'm still well & enjoying life immensely. I was on duty this weekend, helping with the Sat. night dance & Sunday tea & running the Sunday evening musical. There was good professional talent from a studio in Boston. This morning we cut out leather wallets, etc. requested on the wards & fooled around with some of the favorites who filter in although the shop is "closed." This afternoon I went with Eleanor Schmidt to the three T.B. wards again, taking requests, visiting with them & helping them with shells & string belts. In one ward we wear masks, but not in the other two. Tonight I have off. Tomorrow (Tuesday) I work morning & afternoon. I have to write the Red Cross
