The regular staff girls have files of the most impassioned missives you ever saw, and each man is sure that he is remembered & missed. I'm glad the Milwaukee check came. I got a 2 weeks salary check of $74. & a voucher check of $120. a couple of days ago. Unless I have lots of expense on a new assignment while waiting - I should be able to send some home. I didn't bring any civilian clothes with me. I wear my uniform to the hospital each morning & change there to the gray seersucker hospital dress we wear on duty. Yes, I have a hat, or cap. I also have a nifty top coat with red wool lining, rain coat, havelock (oiled silk cover for hat with sides that snap under the chin like on the Waves hats). They took a Red Cross picture of us each as partial clearance. It is to be sent to the towns we specified when we land. I said Iowa City, Milwaukee & West Union, & the Tri-Dent. I'll try to get one taken when I get back to Washington for your special benefit, however. I am so glad you are taking good care of yourself. If you have any abscess, you'd better take care
