Blackstone Hotel, Washington, D.C. Wed. Dec. 1st [1943] Dear Mother, My mailing address is still, and will continue to be, Red Cross but here is where I am right now. I'll be here till I'm on a clearance list, which ought to be in a couple of weeks if not sooner. Helen Crum is on the list for Dec. 7th. We were assigned to same particular spot early in the game I think, & then when transportation is available for there, we appear on the list. I went out to the University and collected my packages. Sara had taken care of the cake, so I got those seeds from her & the
