2 its hospital wherever it may be in this country. If before they get there that hospital starts moving, their orders are changed & they meet it at the Port instead. When the hospital (or any military unit) is about to move it is "alerted" and so is its Red Cross staff, of course. That is when we wouldn't be supposed to communicate with people. Helen Crum finally got off last night. Her mother was here for ten days before she finished her course & for the last week now. She reminds me very much of Mrs. Cochran, but unfortunately Helen is not as mature as Harriet & can't handle her. How glad I am that I have one of superior qualities! I wish you could be here as we'd have fun eating & going places while I wait. I don't suppose you'd want to do it, though, especially when time is so uncertain. About the Christmas: it isn't really Christmas anyway unless I'm home, so just put a bond in if you want to & will do as we planned--celebrate later. I think I have everything I can take & if not can get it so well here.
