2 flashlight, six extra batteries for it, & extra bulbs, & 4 bulbs for the other. I already had eight batteries for the large, so should be good & light at any rate. I also got a canvas bag to take. It will hold the extra things, when & if they come. I am reassured about the quantity of things. A girl arrived to spend a day or so in Katharines room before going on assignment to the Embassy Club. (She's just back from 6 weeks at Miami beach) She has a much larger duffle bag than I got & says she saw girls packing to ship & they got lots in the bed roll. I plan to carry the bag to the port, then pack it flat in the roll along with its contents. It would be swell for weekend leaves, if any. I mailed the card to Letha. Her name is Mrs. Oren Lanzendorf, and I don't blame you for not recalling it. I couldn't till I'd visited her three times. It's not Africa, as you probably have gathered by now, but the place that is the center of everything about to come. Don said not much was going to Africa now. I wouldn't be too
