Also got "Paris Underground" at the "Y" rental shop, and liked it. The letter from Katharine Platt (distant relative on Peebles side) was interesting. I'm afraid it would be too hard to try to see Lois, so I probably won't try it. In Blanche's letter she said the Kramers (he is the illegitimate son of the old rancher, you know) who lived in Bakersfield are now here. I hope I can see them as they were fun. They came to the station last time to see me off: She wrote them, so maybe they'll call me. I couldn't find them in the book. Why don't you open my presents and use any you can & put away the rest. You might as well be reading the book as not. Yes, I got the string of lights for 89c last year, but I think it was at Sears or somewhere like that, wasn't it?
