Dave Elder c/o Evening Journal Washington, Iowa 19 December 1944 Dear Dave: Merry Christmas from Erin's green isle. I'm right back in Northern Ireland where I started my tour of duty nearly three years ago. My wife is with me, and she also was glad to leave Scotland to return to her native land. This is to wish you the season's greetings, thank you for the Scuttlebutts, and let you know of the change of address. Our best to Mabel. And say hello to George & Merritt McDaniel for me. And have a cherry coke - no ice - for me at their fountain. Cheerio Les Glick
