Camp Parks California December 24 - 1944 Dear Mr. Elder, Received a copy of your paper "Scuttlebut" in today's mail and was glad to get it as there is a lot of news and information in it of the fellows from Washington and there whereabouts. In fact I read of one man who was stationed within two miles of this camp guess I will look him up, if I ever get time. I am stationed here at Camp Parks and am in the security force or base police here. Have been here every since returning from overseas this spring was up in the Aluetions sixteen months. Want to thank you for sending the paper as it was much appreciated. Sincerilly Lewis Edward Wiley SF1/C Security Barraks 68 Camp Parks California
