4-8-45 Dear Dave, I rec'd the "Scuttlebutt" the other day and was certainly glad to get it and hope that I may continue to be on your mailing list. I am engaged in quite interesting work out here. Now we are essentially an air-sea rescue station and send planes out on crashes or any type of emergency up to 1000-1500 miles off the coast. Also we are on the alert for any submarine activity and right now we are standing by as there has been a sub reported somewhere in the vicinity of this Coast now we are on an alert status. How is everything coming back in Washington? All fine I hope. Suppose that everyone is being kept quite busy
