A man better read this or someone will get their ears burn. Cpl Jack D. Longer 37443531 Co E 511 Para APO 468 c/o P M San Francisco Calif. April 11, 1945. Dear Scuttlebutt & Dave & rest of the boys, I have been getting the scuttlebut quit often now 51st is one I got last few days. I am sorry that I can't return this by air mail but I do good to get any kind of envelopes. I don't know if you have Kimble Gates on your list or not but please put him on I have tryed to get some word from him but as yet havn't. He is in the U.S.M.C. and it is one of the best and I am in the other both outfits are the hardest hitting outfits in the world. This might cause some trouble but the work we do is dam near by hands.
