In the latest drip that I received there was an item about the Journal Carriers party. I never won any of the prizes but I can remember the good times I had at a few of those parties. Dave I'll never forget the time you went with me on the route. We were trying to get more subscribers. Old Mrs. Sage down on So. 2nd Ave. told you she didn't take the paper cause I was too smarty acting. Funny how some of those things stick in a persons memory. Well, Dave, this must come to an abrupt halt. Hope you and Mrs. Elder are enjoying the best of health. By for now Gene [Sgt. Gene E. Crossett]
