Pinedale, Fresno, Calif. and true to form the Army is shipping me to a good hot climate for the summer as soon as they found out that winter is about over here & everyone's come out of hibernation. C'est la guerre! I have no complaints though, Dave, when I read of the grand job so many of the other boys from home are doing elsewhere. Those infantry boys deserve the praise of all G.I.'s & civilians alike. My very best regards to Mabel, your mother & all the office gang, Dave. Keep up the good work and don't ever think your not doing a grand job. Sincerely, John [Sgt. John T. Stewart]
