Northern Pacific 6 May 1945 Dear Dave, It was a pleasant surprise to receive "Scuttlebutt". I hear from several people around home but none have included as much news about the fellows from Washington. Thanks a million. I am looking forward to the next issue. Have been doing quite a lot of sailing in the Pacific, participating in the invasion of the Palams (old news now), going to [censor] and several other small islands, noticeable only by the military importance. So far I haven't run into anyone from home since leaving the states in June. With the additional information from "Scuttlebutt, may be able to contact some of the fellows. Sincerely, E.L. Moothart [Earnest L. Moothart Y 2/c]
