Who is it that goes into no mans land (after the air corp. has passed over and the infantry has withdrawn to restablish its lines) to bring back and care for the wounded & sick. Many will say, "Who is that damn fool running around out there?" He is the unsung hero of this war. No prase for out standing and (daring?) air raids, no glory for historical charges on the enemy lines, but just battle [illegible] and a few thanks for the many lives he has saved during a days work.
