June 2 [1945] Hi Dave, Seems like every time I receive a Scuttlebutt drip, I want to answer. But dog gone it Dave there just isn't anything to write about. From what I gather the play did go okay. I can just imagine the expression on Brindley's face when he snafued on the pistol shots. I'm being kept quite busy lately with playing in a little dance band in addition to my regular routine. I'm having alot of fun out of it and make nice bit of dough on the side. We play alot for free though, Red Cross, etc.
