United States Navy June 5 [1945] U.S.S Highlands Dear Dave, I wish to thank you for the Scuttlebutt. I enjoy it very much & am looking forward to the next Isue. I am glad to here where a lot of the fellows are. I have been keeping my eyes open for the fellows from back home.I might run into out here but haven't ever met a one yet. I know weeks later I have been in the Vacinity but maby will run accross some, some time. Had better close now & be hearing from you soon, Sincerly Clark. Clark F. Miller S 1/c 621-99-98
