than they could put in. Give my best to the rest of the Journal employees who had to side-step every night when I came through with the broom. I think Clarice Meek would be glad to know that I have given up selling Fuller brushes out here. The natives feel they are not necessary. I would like to tell you something of what my work out here is, but the Navy Department is still a bit bashful or confused (sometimes it seems like the latter) to let information about us get back home. It is an interesting job, however, and we have some fine men to work with. Please excuse the ink blots. My knee is still not up to a table. Thanks again for "Scuttlebutt." There will be no change of address for me for quite some time (damn it) so just keep my name on the mailing list as it is. Sincerely, Everette W. Squire
