[letterhead] 9 June [1945] Dear Dave, I've been transferred from Corpus Christi to Daytona Beach, Fla. My Scuttlebutt's have been coming O.K. but some what delayed. Heres my new address; Lt (Jg) Ellis I Finke N.A.S. Room 152 Daytona Beach, Fla. This base is an addvanced operational base. (Fighter's) Probably be here 3 months & then to the West Coast. Lots of times when no mail comes I drag out my old Scuttlebutts & read them over & over. Here's hoping everything at home is going O.K. Your old friend Ellie
