2nd LT P.A. Dodder 0-931142 34th MMC RECON. SPD A.P.O. 374, %P.M. N.Y., N.Y. June 12 1945 Dear Dave, was glad to get the Scuttlebutt and am looking forward to the next issue. Our airfield is in Haguenau, France on the Rhine River. Don't know what our future move will be. Flew a mapping mission the other day, just one since the end of the war. Once in a while we can get a P-38 and go out and look Germany over. We also have tours that visit nearby sights in Germany. Have seen a lot of the country that way. Some of it could easily be mistaken for Iowa. But the cities all look like a table top. We are having very little trouble with the Germans but they are a slick people if not watched. Haven't seen anybody from home. Sincerely Paul
