15 June 1945 Dear sir; Just a few lines to give you my change of address so that I can start getting my copies of the Scuttlebutt on time again. It is really swell to hear about the guys that I used go to school with in Washington. I haven't lived there for about six years, but I can still remember most of them. I imagine that most of them have changed quite a bit. I probably wouldn't recognize some of them. I feel sorry when I read that some of the boys have lost their lives. Guess that we all can't come back, though, no matter how much we want. I have been here at this base for about a week and it is the last stop before going across.
