UNITED STATES ARMY AIR FORCES 5 July 1945 Hi Dave, Ever hear of the Land of Enchantment; they've been telling this is it. I'm really in no position to judge as yet; as I haven't been able to see through the hot, blowing dust. It is perfect for sleeping nights, however. Upon returning to Hondo, I received orders to transvene to here for a pre-BTO (Bombing Through Overcast) course. We are suppose to be able to bomb when we leave here. The course last for 4 weeks so what it amounts to is "Here's a bombsight buddy; You've had it." When I finish here it will be either Yuma, Arizona, or Victorville, Calif for Radar. They say Radar men are hot now so I wouldn't be surprised if it's farewell by Thanksgiving. Must say I'm tired of Service School's so it don't make much difference
