11 Jul 1945 Dear Dave, Pleased to receive "Scuttlebutt" at times when no other mail comes thru. Would you add Donald M. Beemblossom to the address list. His address is: Donald M. Beemblossom, 37048064, 584th Signal Company, A.P.O. 510, c/o Postmaster, New York; I'm sure he will be as glad to receive this contribution to the service man's pleasure. Change of scenes since last writing; not much to relate. Has stopped raining. These islands are well vegetated.
