(3) morgues. I really dreaded to leave Washington. More this time than ever before. Today they asked us all if we wanted to stay in the Army until Japan was defeated. No one said yes. We aren't unpatriotic, we have just learned the score by being in the army awhile. General Patch, who had 7th Army in Europe, and who now has the 4th here in the United States, will inspect us Thursday. Guess we'll put on a lot of polish that day. All for this time, Dave.
