[Nov. 30, 1917?] Dear Father. I got the knife and cookies too and the same day I got a big box of cookies from Aunt Louise so I had enough to eat for awhile. The knife is just exactly what I wanted and I have it securely fastened on a rawhide string so I wont lose it. Well we are leaving here at 7 oclock. I dont know where we are going but we are on our way. I think to Halifax but Im not sure I will write as soon as I get a chance from wherever we are. We got some more new clothes today and have everything already to go
