to Communion out of the whole Co. I am going again tomorrow at 10 Am; an artillery chaplin is going to have Mass in a dugout not far away so Im taking advantage of all oppurtunities We have just received a fine Red Cross Convalescent blanket from the Mothers Auxiliary Club at Des Moines also 1440 francs to be spent for delicacies for the boys. Pat Hull is back again so Im a laision runner once more. The other night I had to go back to our store room in a little burg about five miles from the trenches and they had two americian girls there singing and they sure looked good to me they were the first Americian women I have seen over here and they looked as though they should be at home going to school instead of singing in the Y.M.C.A. We have just about deceided we are going to stay here
