can see a statue of St Joseph overlooking the street the statue is in good shape about like the one we have in the church at home. Every french house has a crucifix and many of them have life size statues and some even have altars. One church I have been to see has all the vases and altar ornaments made of hammered brass from shell casings of the famous "75" I am afraid I have been neglecting Dad and Dot and Mame and Bob in the way of letters but tell them to keep up their courage Im going to write to them all very soon Well I guess I will close for now with lots and lots of love to the best mother in the world your loving son Pvt.
