May 22 1918 Dear Dot By the time you get this I suppose your school days will be finished, and you will be a young lady with your diploma nicely framed in your room. How does it feel to be a graduate I'm afraid I wont know for awhile yet anyhow I think I'll try again when I get out of the army and see if I can't get a sheepskin Did you get a Palmer Method diploma I know I never will unless it is that I stay over here for about 10 years and then I will have plenty of practice at writing letters. How did the affairs come off anyhow I hope there were no casualties at the finals.
