May 24 Dear Dad Have just got my new chevrons for six months service on foreign pay its a peach too. I have heard we are to get another one before the end of the month for three months under continuous shell fire don't know how true it is. Have you heard any rumors of our coming back to the states we have been hearing rumors that our division was to return to the bordr, but don't believe a word of it as we would be more good right here.
