My dear Dad Have been back from leave for about five days but have been up to my ears in work so havent written before. I certainly enjoyed my leave to [place] and southern France it doesnt seem the same country since the war is over. They are discharging many of the soldiers and the rail roads are certainly congested almost impossible to get a seat in any train except a military special box cars they have us heat either so I did the most of my traveling standing up. Went from here to [place] and as [place] Coasts no [illegible] the drals or buildings of any size or reputation we spent the day sightseeing in the shop
