will stay for six months and probably a year in the A on Army Occupation so Im settled down and I [illegible] my german book and "Atlas und [illegible]" to me in a box I'll send a request in this letter for it. I think I shall send my french grammar home for awhile (to recuperate) I had my picture taken yesterday by a hic photographer, and I'm sending you [illegible] I have an Iron Cross and a "[Gott mit uus?]" belt on in the picture also my rainbow on my left shoulder and a couple of service stripes. If you want to do me a real favor [nit?] me on and make it red yellow blue and it shows here
