[Letterhead: United States Navy] 20 October 1945 Guam Dear Dave, I believe it has been quite Some time since I last answer your Scuttlebutts - so here goes. Just arrived here a couple days ago and [???] will be here for about a month. After that to Norfolk, Virginia and decommissioning which means a thirty day leave for me. I still have quite some time to put in this outfit because my points just don't Seem to add up very high. Once again old scuttlebutt has or will help me find one of the old home time boys. I read in the scuttlebutt where Don Boyer saw Don [Guigery?] at the Fleet Hospital and I hear that one is but a Short distance from here. I've got tomorrow off so I'm going over. Been three years since I've Seen Don G.
