Oct 28, 1945 Dear Dave, Will drop you a few lines to ask you stop scuttlebutt for awhile as to morrow I am being moved to a recieving ship and I wont have a permanent address for awhile. I'll write again as soon as I get settled. The reason for the change is that they are decomissioning our squadron of P.T. and they have burned our boat. They are keeping only two squadrons out of the forty out here. I have no idea what I will be assigned to but it will probably be with the fleet.
