Whoever might want to can have free room board etc if they will live there and be a companion to her. I don't want to leave her alone when Im gone this time so if you know anyone that might be interested jot them down and we will select one. Opal is going through the menopause but is taking shots as treatment and seems to be doing splendidly but I don't want to lose what we have gained during the past year. Any suggestions from you or Mable will be gratefully received. I will have finished the training of my regiment 5 Dec 45 and all new Cavalry trainees are being shipped to Ft Knox to reduce overhead installations. The cadre from my inactivation are sent to Ft. Knox on completion of their training cycle. I'm down to 1600 EM now. I had four squadrons of 1200 EM each when I assumed command. It has been interesting and good experience. I'll be seeing you next month. My kindest and most select personal regards to you, Dave Sincerely [Pau??] [Lt. Col. W. G. Eldridge] (ALL off record)
