4110 Gallatin St Hyattsville, Maryland 11/17/45 Dear Dave, With the receipt of this you can start saving 3 cents a week on me. On the 18th I trade in my B-29 for a Erocoupe and my Captain's bars for a little gold button. Slightly over five years with "Uncle." My plans for the future undecided; but it will be something in geology or flying. At present I have two offers in each. It shouldn't take me too long to make up my mind as I have two daughter (latest count) to raise and in addition to clothes etc. will need a shotgun to handle 1962 models of Jim Casey and Don [Stutsman?]. Last request could you send me Jim Casey's address. Yours Joe Brookhart [Capt. J.W. Brookhart] P.S. Thanks a lot have enjoyed it.
