[Letterhead: U.S. Coast Guard Air Station, South San Francisco, California] 11-24-45 Dear Dave, Well, I have intended writing this for 2-3 weeks but just don't seem to get around to it until tonight. The Scuttlebutt is still coming regular and I certainly do enjoy it a lot. Certainly had a nice trip back out here and spent about a day and a half in Garden City and certainly had a nice time there. Everyone was well and Aunt [Mayme?] looked just about the same as usual. Her legs swell so much during the day from being up and around. Didn't get to see Marguerite so she & [Guny?] had left that morning for Chicago & [Guny?] was discharged there. Had a nice trip the rest of the way back down through Santa Fe & Albuquerque & then to Grand Canyon & Boulder Dam & on to Las Vegas, & is that a wild damned town now.
