Jan 3, 1945 [1946] Dear Dave: I will soon be on my way back to the Cleanest City in Iowa. So please discontinue sending me the Scuttlebutt. I have looked forward to receiving it each week and truly appreciate all the effort you have put forth to make it possible. I saw Wes Eibe and Carl Klein Jr. last week. Wes thinks he will be on his way back before long, but Junior is still stuck to the Rock for awhile. Enclosing a copy of the Guam Navy News, which the Navy delivers to us. Thanking you again for the Scuttlebutt. I am, yours truly, Charles [M] Barclay
