Boca Chica, Fla. Jan. 9, 1946 Dear Dave: In a way this might be called a 'Dear John' letter because I'll not be needing Scuttlebutt anymore, I've gone back (or am going this week) to my first love, civilian life. Thanks for the good work you have done, you may be sure it was appreciated by all of us.
