U.S.S. LST-737 Pearl Harbor 9-Jan-45 [1946] Dear Dave, Have been going to write for some time, but you know, keep putting off. I have been enjoying the Scuttlebutt a lot. I'm glad [Rev Ken?] put my name on your list my last leave. Its interesting to get the latest dope on the town. We are now in repair base here in Pearl Harbor. Our motors are all shot. We will be here another month the way it looks. The L.S.T. I am on made most of the invasions of the Pacific and has a fine record. Now we are picking up surplus supplies and bringing it back to the states. Hope you and your wife have servived the flu and get on the ball again. As ever Wm Keith Wells S 1/C
