Honolulu, I.H. 13 January 1946 Dear Mr. Elder, This will be a very short letter. But I thought that perhaps "Scuttlebutt" would be interested in some of the goings-on here in the Pacific to get the G.I.'s home a little sooner. More than likely, you've all heard of the mass meetings we've been holding - and it seems to be having a little affect but hasn't as yet shown enough. I'll enclose a letter that was passed out to everyone who attended Saturday's meeting in Ft. (Shafter). Still thanking you for "Scuttlebutt." Yours truly, Sgt. Hotle [s/sgt. Ronald V. Hotle]
