Manila [1946] Mar. [6th?] Dear Mr. Dave, Well although I haven't my orders in my hand I happen to know that I will have them by the time this reaches you. So--please stop the sheet. When I think of the enjoyable hours I've spent reading and rereading dear old Scuttlebutt I can't find words good enough to express my gratitude. I just got out of the hospital a few days ago from a slight attack of Malaria. That makes the third time for a fever to get me.
